Muscular-Fitness offers some great fitness tips, including one of the most important tips for losing weight - eat 4-6 smaller meals a day, rather than 2-3 larger meals:
One of the most important fitness tips of all is to understand why you should eat 4-6 smaller meals per day instead of 2-3 big meals per day. Although most people follow the breakfast, lunch and dinner eating regime, this is not the ideal way to eat. No matter what your fitness goals are, to lose weight, gain muscle or simply get in shape, you will get more benefit from eating more smaller meals than you ever will from eating 2 or 3 large meals each day. By eating smaller meals more often you speed up your metabolism which leads to less bodyfat and more muscle and you are less likely to want to eat junk foods or any foods high in sugar or fat in between meals. Advice and Rants offers 7 tips for how to lose weight and keep it off:
Most people put back any weight they lose, and more, but you won’t be one of them: this article will teach you not to think “dieting” and “difficult” but to make changes in your lifestyle that you won’t have any difficulty with.
Finally, the Beek Jerky Blog offers offers some great dieting tips:
The basic idea of any diet is to eat food that contains fewer calories than your body needs to maintain its current weight. This way, the body is forced to use the accumulated fat in order to make up for the energy it does not get from food. But a diet also has to be tasty and nutritionally sound. Simply banning certain types of foods and ingredients is not a solution because anybody following such a diet will have to acknowledge sooner or later that he or she wants those foods and ingredients badly and a relapse into the old eating habits becomes inevitable.
