Beauty Tips - Anti-Aging Skincare That Works: PART DEUX

Health
Here’s some additional evidence that using skin care that truly helps boost skin’s health and appearance doesn’t have to jeopardize the kid’s college fund.

Pick up the book Straight Talk About Cosmetic Surgery, by Arthur Perry MD. In Straight Talk, Perry states, “lower-priced products may work better than their more expensive counterparts.” Love this guy!

Perry’s 3 Key Ingredients For Anti-Aging Skin Care

- Vitamin C (aka L-ascorbic acid)

- Alpha Hydroxy Acid (aka AHA, fruit acids, glycolic acid

- Retinoids or Retinol-like compounds (aka tretinoin)

While Perry states that there are other ingredients that may benefit your skin, these Top Three picks are backed by strong scientific evidence.

It is also interesting to note that many other ingredients we leverage the farm to buy have molecules too large to even penetrate the surface of our skin – they end up just sitting on top- doing basically nothing!

The Beauty of Anti-Aging Skincare

While a steep price tag, a pretty bottle or great marketing may make you think that expensive skin care products will do more for you, I urge you to think again! Guys like Dr. Perry are telling it to us straight- if you find the same ingredients in a product at Rite Aid as you do in a $99 bottle – go for the cheap stuff and have a glass of expensive champagne instead!

So check out Straight Talk About Cosmetic Surgery and then head to the health food store or the pharmacy for some skin care that really works!

Hey, do you think he might be finding ways for us to save our pennies so we can maybe save enough to get that tummy tuck? Just a thought. Perverse and twisted, but a thought.

Love,
Health Sundae

Thanks for the favorable review of the book, “Straight Talk about Cosmetic Surgery”. the book is now trickling into amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com and to local bookstores. There’s so much hype out there about cosmetic surgery, it’s becoming impossible to know what information to trust. Think about those 90210 cosmetic surgeons encouraging women to have giant breast implants…exactly opposite what we’re taught in residency! That’s the way to have great 3 month results and miserable patients 5 years later…

    Thanks again.

Where can I purchase your night cream? I heard you on a paid advertisement on the radio but did not get the number to call. Do you have a website? Thanks.

Sometimes we can use amazing creams and still be causing problems with our skin. I found a really great beauty pillow that helps decrease wrinkles on the face as well. When you use a great cream and then maintain the good skin condition by using a great pillow so you aren’t wrinkling your skin at night you get maximum benefits from the cream. One of my friends told me about it. You can find it at www.beautypillow.com.
